Description
MAB Institute offers PowerTraining™ to provide 16 hours of online, instructor-led medical billing and coding training over five Tuesdays - a PowerMonth™! While it is impossible to teach you everything about medical billing and coding in 16 hours, you will receive a solid foundation on which to build your billing and coding knowledge, and you will gain sufficient knowledge to sit for the Certified Medical Billing Specialist® (CMBS™) or Certified Patient Services Professional™ (CPSP™) certification exam and support your career.

PowerTraining is open to those who are new to medical billing, those building their medical billing and coding careers and looking to upskill, and those medical billing professionals wanting a refresher or seeking CEUs. It also offers a networking opportunity to share experiences and make connections with other billers and coders. Current CMBS™ and CPSP™ holders receive up to 16 CEUs!

NOTE that you must provide your own ICD-10-CM, CPT®, and HCPCS coding manuals. In addition to having your own coding manuals, you must have a computer with an Internet connection, camera, microphone, and uninterrupted work space. The camera must be turned on during the class as the goal is to have an interactive class experience.

To sit for the Certified Medical Billing Specialist® (CMBS™) or Certified Patient Services Professional™ (CPSP™) certification exam, you must be a current MAB member and pay the certification exam fee.
