Laws, Fraud, and Ethics (BAS008)


Description
In this course on Laws, Fraud, and Ethics, you will learn about fraud and abuse laws, policies, and regulations. You will then be able to differentiate and explain fraud and abuse laws and violations and relate them to medical billing activities. This is a two-hour course, including time spent on exercises and assessments. The Medical Association of Billers grants two CEUs for successfully completing and passing this Laws, Fraud, and Ethics course.

Our Laws, Fraud, and Ethics course consists of an audiovisual presentation, questions to assess your understanding of laws, fraud, and ethics, and an evaluation form. The assessment may include matching, fill in the blanks, true/false, and multiple choice questions. You must score at least a 75% on the assessment to pass the course, and you may retake the assessment until you pass. You must complete the course within 90 days of purchase.
