Description
In this course on Introduction to HCPCS Coding, you will learn how to use the HCPCS coding nomenclature to report devices, drugs, and procedures. You will then be able to reference the HCPCS coding manual sections; classify devices, drugs, and procedures within the HCPCS coding nomenclature; and describe general HCPCS coding procedures. This is a two-hour course, including time spent on exercises and assessments. The Medical Association of Billers grants two CEUs for successfully completing and passing this Introduction to HCPCS Coding course.

!!! You must have a HCPCS coding manual to follow along and complete the course. MAB Institute does not provide coding manuals. !!!

Our Introduction to HCPCS Coding course consists of an audiovisual presentation, questions to assess your understanding of HCPCS coding, and an evaluation form. The assessment may include matching, fill in the blanks, true/false, and multiple choice questions. You must score at least a 75% on the assessment to pass the course, and you may retake the assessment until you pass. You must complete the course within 90 days of purchase.
